Original cocktails, a timeless interior, and the contrast between the industrial Jurkovičova Tepláreň (Jurkovič Heating Plant) building and the modern architecture of the neighbouring Sky Park buildings. Situated in the heart of this new cultural scene, Werk is serving up cosmopolitan cuisine and an open space for everyone.

Werk offers an extraordinary experience in a striking atmosphere. The original menu offers an impressive selection of vegan, fish, and meat courses, tantalizing desserts, craft beverages, wines from around the world, and our very own coffee. In our kitchen and bar, you can sense the importance and freshness of each and every ingredient and how it is reflected in the quality of our food. The permanent menu will include seasonal foods with a constantly changing selection.

The variable space adapts to the quickly changing moods of the day, where the daytime experience is completely different to the night time experience – when Werk transforms into a lounge with dimmed lighting and the atmosphere of a Manhattan that never sleeps.

Werk is a unique concept designed to create a synergy with the new city centre in which it is situated. With its captivating space, original details, and world-class menu, Werk is the ideal place for meetings, business lunches, unplugging after a day at work, an intimate dinner for two, for celebrations with friends.

Jurkovičova Tepláreň is one of the last historic remnants of the golden age of industry in Bratislava. The building was likely designed by the father of modern Slovak architecture, Dušan Jurkovič. Although it was bombed during the Second World War, the building was later renovated and preserved. In 2008, Jurkovičova Tepláreň was declared a National Cultural Monument for its architectural value. Extensive reconstruction began ten years later with a focus on preserving as much as possible of the original features and unique signature of Dušan Jurkovič. Today, this historic monument is home to Werk.
